2019 PEACEKEEPING MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE
The objective is for ministers from around the world to reaffirm their commitment to UN peacekeeping and discuss concrete ways their countries will work towards strengthening uniformed capabilities, performance and the protection of civilians in UN Peacekeeping.
To help in expressing this visually, a bold typeface has been selected for use on communications products. It carries with it weight, a visual strength. The visual system/logo treatment is used across all campaign products for Ministerial and Action for Peacekeeping related campaign for a consistent, professional, look and feel.
More than 130 delegations from around the world, including 60 at the ministerial level, gathered together to reaffirm their support for UN Peacekeeping. The focus of the ministerial conference was to boost efforts to strengthen peacekeeping operations as outlined by the Secretary-General’s Action for Peacekeeping (A4P) initiative.
Use only monochromatic colors to design is a changeling, especially design for diplomacy conference this time. I built a monochromatic palette out of shades, tones, and tints result in a versatile spectrum with color options for every part of my design.
In addition to its versatility, the one-color palette benefited my design project and processed in a number of ways:
1) It created a harmonious, visually cohesive look.
2) It didn't draw attention to itself but lets the content shine.
3) It helped associate peacekeeping brands with a specific, memorable color.

Keynote was addressed by Angelina Jolie, Special Envoy of UNHCR. Graphics I’ve created for Ministerial Peacekeeping have been posted to social media by world leaders and major global organizations including António Guterres, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, US Mission to the UN, Ambassadors, and more.
Participants in the General Assembly Hall observe a moment of silence for the 27 United Nations peacekeepers that were killed by violent acts in 2018, and for all who have died in the service of peace, during the United Nations Peacekeeping Ministerial meeting on the theme of "Uniformed Capabilities, Performance and Protection".
At the podium in the front is Secretary-General António Guterres and at the dais behind him are at left Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General for the Department of Peace Operations, and at right Catherine Pollard, Under-Secretary-General for General Assembly and Conference Management.
